LaSalle Yacht Club is renovating their clubhouse entrance. The goal was to modernize the space and make it feel brighter and bigger. We removed the green carpet and replaced it with a light laminate wood floor that will extend through to the dinning area. By redoing the ceiling, smoothing it out and opting for recessed lighting, we hoped it would help with the low head height in the entryway. A light beige color for the walls will replace the striped wall paper. A new check in station will provide some storage for the Yacht Club. All new doors will be made from lighter wood and a cable railing for the stairs won’t be as a heavy in this space.
